Alambama +8 over Oklahoma
Keep in mind that Alabama was probably the second best team in the SEC last year behind Georgia, and they return virtually the whole team. They're not hyped up b/c of the probation they're serving. If not on probation, you would see them in the top 10, probably even the top 5. The key to the game will be Alabama establishing the run. Shaud Williams can get the job done, especially behind that mammoth Bama line. QB Brodie Croyle is one of the coolest sophomores you'll see play this year. He plays like a fifth year senior and doesn't make a whole lot of mistakes. It's going to be a hard smash mouth game that will come down to the wire with Alabama winning outright. So take the points as a gift and sit back and watch a good game.

Forgot to add that Alabama has not lost a night home game in Tuscaloosa in about 20 years. They're tough to beat under the lights.

Well I can understand that Alabama could give Oklahoma some trouble. The problem is they won't! Let's understand that Oklahoma is the best team in the land for a reason. The points will be the lowest of the year for Oklahoma not including Texas and K-State. Take them now while it's still low-you won't regret it. Good insight, but use that for another weekend.

Oklahoma IS the #1 team in the nation. But not after this week. I can't see them going down to Tuscaloosa and pulling out the win at night. If the line was under 7 I might reconsider, but I'm going to take the 8 and see what happens.

Tanna I respect your insight into this game and it looks like you know what your talking about. I just can see Oklahoma losing or playing a close game with a team who had trouble with South Florida.

Blank,
You could be right. I just think Bama is VERY underrated.
Good luck to you in all your picks except this one.

wont touch that either. This game will be fun to watch, hell to cap. Mike Shula is too new to place money on. They looked like Dookie in the first half vs Sth Fla, and got lucky in the last minute of the 1st to tie it up. I would take this with Franchoine there, but not a newbie. GL anyway.

And Auburn beat them last year and 2 years before that. Didnt exactly start at night but ended at night. 20 years is inflated because they also play games in B-ham.

Laying 8 @ Bama IS a tuff prop, but their domination in the 2nd H against S.Fla was mostly due to spcl tms. Don`t think that will happen here. I`m not going to be on this one just watch what should be a good one. I see 7.5 now, IF I were to bet it I`d buy the half and lay 7.

Adding Auburn -8 over GTech
Auburn will come out with fire in their eyes after last weeks debacle. They've got to have a big showing.

Tulsa +38 vs. Arkansas. Arkansas attack is based on the running game, which should eat up a lot of clock and not allow a whole lot of points to be scored. They'll also be looking forward to their game with Texas next week. They should keep it close to the vest with no surprises.
